Guitar Hero Gameplay and Know-How
This rhythm-based phenomenon of a game called Guitar Hero for Xbox can now be found in the homes of many music and game lovers. It can be played with the use of a computer, PlayStation 2 and 3, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. It will have you playing popular tracks using a guitar-like peripheral in no time. It is a video game that gained tremendous success in so short a time. To play, all you are required of is to be able to follow the beat of the music, to have a love for the song, some patience and best of all, highly skillful and deft fingers. No need to fret if you do not have it yet, it can be learned.
Playing the Guitar Hero may take some time to get used to, just like many other video games. The first thing that the player should be familiar with is the guitar that is supposed to be strummed and pressed in the game. Though it may not be as complicated as the genuine electric guitar, it may prove to be a challenge. It is therefore important for the players to know the uses of the fret buttons found on the neck of the guitar. Familiarity with the other buttons is equally important such as the strum bar, the Select Button and the Start Button.
Once you have familiarized your self with the main controller of the game, the next obvious thing to do is start the game. Connect your guitar to the console, be it an Xbox 360, PS2, PS3 or Nintendo Wii. Turn the TV on, connect the console to it and place the game CD in the disk tray. For PS2 users, place a memory card to save the necessary game data.
Now that the whole console is set up, the only thing left for you to do is play the game. There are different game modes – the Career mode, Multiplayer, Training and Quick Play. You may choose any of these. For beginners, you should start of in the Training Mode. But if you have some experience or a good sense of music, Quick Play may be appropriate for you. If you simply want to enjoy a fun game with a friend, the Multiplayer mode is what you need. Take note, however, that the Multiplayer mode is not accessible unless you have two guitar controllers plugged in.
